Hi! My name is Honey and I am a chinchilla!!! I am almost 2 years old and I have the best home ever!! I have LOTS of fur that is very soft to pet. I don't take baths in water like other animals or even humans. I get to take baths in DUST! How cool is that??

I have been with my mom and dad (as I like to call them) since November of 2007. They have taken such good care of me!!! I have a cage that is 5 feet tall and has 4 floors to run around in!!! Mom bought me a saucer wheel that I LOVE to run around on. I love when I get to run around in my ball, but I love it even more when I'm allowed to run around outside of it. I am a bit of an escape artist, and I take every chance I get to try and get out. Sometimes I'm successful, but my parents sure have caught on to my tricks!!!

I used to love cheerios a lot, but I've moved on to bigger and better things, like rose petals and horse cookies - they sound weird, but I LOVE them!!! I wish I got them more often! I also love love love love chewing on wood and popsicle sticks. And I love when someone rubs under my chin or behind my ear. I'm getting all warm and fuzzy just thinking about it!!
